I’m stepping back from productivity apps and taking a moment to talk about an anti-productivity app. This electronic version of the classic game has amazing graphics, game options, and new game features. Most of us remember sitting around a table playing this game for hours on end until someone finally won (and sometimes that could take days).

Features:

  • Game options can be turned on or off (i.e. free parking = cash; if a player can’t afford to purchase a property the property can be auctioned off, etc.)
  • You have the option to play against fellow iPhone Monopoly owners (via wireless network or bluetooth)
  • You can change the look and feel of the game with different room options
  • Top of the line animations of the different player pieces
  • You can play with up to 4 people (or you can play against the phone)
  • Players can “shake the dice” by actually shaking the device
  • Much, much more!

What I Like Best About It:

The fact that I can be working and secretly playing against my friends in the same room. The app is a little more expensive than I would have liked but it is definitely worth it! It’s fun to pass around with your significant other when you’re winding down from the day, or it’s fun to play a wireless game against your iPhone buddies. I highly recommend this game. Enjoy!
