We’ve talked at length about OC being a road vehicle innovation hub like Rivian, space vehicles companies like Virgin Galactic, underwater vehicles by Anduril, and now: electric air mobility or eVTOL by Overair in Santa Ana. With their latest funding of $145M Series B, OC is really establishing itself as a consumer mobility capital. And it’s not surprising given the legacy talent that has deep roots in aerospace, like Boeing, but this time around, most of the vehicles are all electric or designed for the 21st century. A great trend to continue watching.
