Electric vehicles are making some real noise. Irvine-based Rivian just raised $2.5B more in funding from Ford Motors and Amazon, amongst other investors. Also in Irvine, Cox Automotive has invested previously, and parent company Cox Enterprises has invested over $1B in cleantech and sustainability startups. I love that OC is one of the epicenters for these vehicles and now we need to make some noise about the density and talent that’s also here. I’d turn that to you: How should we best talk about all the EV makers and technology development going on in OC?
