We’re nearing the end of the year and yet things keep heating up locally. UCI’s The Cove is opening up its new digs and I’m excited to see how many more events and resources they can pack under one roof. Speaking of the Cove, the Cove Fund and local VC Okapi Capital recently invested in San Diego-based Daasity alongside San Diego-based Serra Ventures and Mooring Ventures. A true local effort in funding our companies. Another local company, Float, is taking off shortly. I met co-founder/CEO Arnel at a Cove event over the summer. I’m excited to be on the waitlist and get anywhere in SoCal within 30 minutes – the dream!
