Wow, February is here already and thank God. January was a whirlwind no? I’m still recovering from the loss of Kobe, to be honest. As a Newport Beach resident, I’m sure you’ve had your own interactions with him. Growing up in LA, Kobe was the constant hero in our sports saga. He may have retired but he didn’t go far and now it’s weird to think he’s not there. It’s certainly fired me up to remember to come prepared and keep pushing to win. RIP Kobe.

There’s a lot of new and expanded office news, as you’ll see below. As we’ve previously mentioned the Cove’s new expansion is ready, which you can come see on their Feb. 12th opening party .
The big event everyone is talking about is that Y Combinator is visiting tonight to meet biotech companies. This is a huge validation from the “Ivy League” of startup accelerators and puts our scene on the big stage. Let’s share and support!
