A recent ranking of talent pools by CBRE showed Orange County in the top 25 across the country. 21st to be exact. While it’s nice to see OC separated from LA for once, OC is the 6th most populated county in the U.S. so it would be nice to see a corresponding talent rank.
With great universities, successful tech companies, and a great place to live, we are attracting more talent, but not at the rate to keep up with demand. I’d love to collaborate on ideas to upskill our local talent to be utilized in our ecosystem. Code schools have been a good start but we need more. We need to train more of every role like tech sales, digital marketing, finance with today’s revenue models, recruiting, and more.
