Summer is almost over?! It feels like it with August coming to a quick end. But there’s a lot going on, especially with some of our big name OC brands. Late stage fintech startup Acorns is raising more celebrity money, Amazon is launching its fleet of delivery robots, and Surfline made an Apple watch app! (stoked!).
But there are some other brands that deserve some major credit, like Tech Coast Angels having an amazing year of growth and OCTANe raising some serious capital for the local biotech/medtech startup community. Also Irvine & SD-based EvoNexus is opening a Silicon Valley campus, further linking our startups to the Bay Area with a fintech incubator in San Mateo.
