Happy September! Lots of great news and events in this latest issue of the newsletter. A great trend worth spotlighting is the new early stage capital coming to light. From local cyber tech company Crowdstrike  raising an early stage fund, OCTANe  accelerator raising funds, and TCA OC creating their first early stage fund, this is great momentum for the local startup community.
I also got a chance to meet a local serial entrepreneur Jim Roberson  and hear about his story of building and selling DrawLoop, which is still based in Irvine post-sale. These kinds of wins are great for moving the ecosystem flywheel forward. Build a great company, have an exit, invest and help with more local companies. Thanks Jim!
